Dodge City, KS-The Broncbusters continue to impress even when the result didn't produce a win.
Down two of their starters following a pair of red cards in Wednesday's match vs. Seward County, the Broncbusters managed a 1-1 draw on Saturday vs. Dodge City at Memorial Stadium.
Garden City trailed for most of the match after Giselle Heck scored the Conquistadors lone goal in the 31stminute. But with less than eight to go in the match, off a free kick by Hannah Duncan, Jessica Newton made a diagonal run back across the back line and got behind the defense, took a touch and finished in the bottom left corner.
Ava Wilson was sensational in goal, recording two saves in 90 minutes. The Broncbusters outshot Dodge City, 12-7.
