Broncbuster rodeo competes at Fort Hays State
Hays, KS-Garden City competed in the Fort Hays State Rode this past weekend.
The men's team finished in 11th place, and the women's team failed to have anyone qualify for the short go.
Jack Danielson was the lone participant to make the Short Go by winning sixth in the Long Go of Steer Wrestling. He had a tough steer in the Short Go, and ended up in 11th place, and finished in 11th place overall in the average.
"We are proud of Jack for the progress he has made in the steer Wrestling considering the fact he didn't start this event until he came to school here," Head Coach, Jim Boy Hash said.
Emma Magee was just out of making the Short Go in the Breakaway Roping. She made a nice 3.0 second run, but the cutoff to make the Short Go was a 2.8. Jezimay Watson also made a nice run in the Team Roping, but she was bumped out of qualifying for the short go.
The Broncbusters close out the regular season at Panhandle State this weekend.
