Broncbuster rodeo competes at Kansas State

Manhattan, KS-The Broncbuster men finished seventh and the women 11th at the Kansas State Rode over the weekend.
Trevor Meier led the way by winning 4th in the Long Go of Steer Wrestling, 2nd in the Short Go, and 2ndin the Average. Trevor also made the Short Go in the Team Roping with former Broncbuster Colton Bond by winning 6th in the Long Go, unfortunately they took a No Time in the Short Go, but still managed to finish 6th in the Average.
Jezimay Watson led the women's team by winning 4th in the Long Go of Goat Tying, but struggled with her goat in the Short Go and placed 10th , and finished 10th in the Average. She also made the Short Go in Team Roping with Seth Anderson from Western Oklahoma State College by Winning 8th in the Long Go. Unfortunately, they took a No Time in the Short Go and finished in 9th place for the Average.
Kiley Slavin is sitting in 2nd place right now in the Central Plains Regional Standings, and Trevor Meier moved up into 10th position in the Steer Wrestling standings with his success over the weekend.
