Garden City rodeo team closes season at Panhandle State
Goodwell, OK-The Broncbuster rodeo team closed the regular season at Panhandle State University with the men's team taking seventh.
Ean Price paced Garden City once again, splitting second, third and fourth in the long go of saddle bronc riding with a 78-point ride. But he bucked off in the short and finished eighth in the average.
Price also made the short go in steer wrestling by earning second in the long go. He couldn't catch his steer in the short-taking a no time and placing ninth in the average.
Tervor Meier split second, third and fourth in the long go of calf roping, but took a no time in the short and finished eighth overall.
This is the first time since 2014 that the Broncbusters failed to qualify anyone for the College Finals Rodeo. The men finished the year eighth in the region standings, and the women were ninth (they did not place at Panhandle State).
