Three Broncbusters punch ticket to nationals

Brian Rodriguez capped a fantastic weekend with a third place finish in the pole fault, jumping a personal best 14-3.25 and qualifying for nationals at the Region VI Track meet at Pittsburg State University.
Clyde King is also headed the national indoor meet after running PR time of 49.23 seconds in the 400 meters. He finished eighth and was also part of the 4x400 meter-relay team that came in seventh, running a personal best 3:24.77.
Ja'brionne Bacon hit a national qualifying mark of 49.38 seconds in the 400-meter dash, finishing in 10th place. And Jae Southerland had a PR time in the 60-meter hurdles, coming in at 9.64 seconds.
The National Indoor Meet is set for Friday, March 1 at Pittsburg State.
