Denim Rogers paces Broncbuster men at Bobcat Invite
San Marcos, TX-The Broncbuster men had another solid weekend at the Bobcat Invitational.
The 4x100m relay-team of Elijah Clark, James Liburd, Trevion McClary and Jonathan Challenger ran a time of 41.36, qualifying them for nationals. Liburd also ran a qualifying time in the open 400-running a time of 47.43 and finishing third individually.
Challenger, who has already qualified for nationals, posted a 10.55 time in the 100 to finish 12th.
Other finishers included Anthony Dawson, who placed 20th in the 400-meter dash. Denim Rogers took first in the 100-meter dash decathlon; fourth in the 400-meter dash, fifth in the 1500-meter run, first in the 110-meter hurdles, fifth in the pole vault, sixth in the long jump, seventh in the shot put, third in the discus and second in the javelin throw. In total, he finished second in the decathlon with a score of 6054 behind Texas State's Oliver Kjeldsen.
