Pratt, KS-Charles Long always preaches perfection with his men's team.
On Wednesday, his team's mistakes cost them dearly.
The Broncbusters missed out on several scoring opportunities, while Pratt capitalized on a plethora of Garden City miscues en route to a 5-1 victory.
"We played well; we just didn't run our set plays the way they should have been ran," Long explained. "That's what this match came down to."
Marcos Fernandez was the lone offensive spark plug for Garden City (7-5, 1-3), despite the Broncbusters firing 15 shots at Beavers goalie John Noelsaint.
Pratt scored their goals on three corners and two free kicks.
"They (Pratt) took advantage of what they had in front of them," Long said. "We didn't."
With the victory, Pratt improved to 2-2 in the Jayhawk and 4-4 overall.
