Wilhelm named to the All-District Team

Garden City, KS-Vincent Wilhelm made the most of the shortened spring season. And on Tuesday, the sophomore was named to the NJCAA and Golf Coach's Association of America All-District team.
"Vincent continued where he left off after last year's National Tournament," Head Coach Phil Terpstra said. "I am very proud of him and how his game has developed."
The German-native burst onto the scene at the end of his freshman campaign, finishing 20th at the 2019 NJCAA National Championships. And there was a major carryover in 2020. He posted three top-20 finishes, which included a magnificent 5-under, 205 to claim the Central Christian Title in the first tournament of his sophomore season. He took ninth at the High-County Shootout back in Sept., shooting a ridiculous 9-under par before carding a 4-under, 10th-place finish at the Bethany College Spring Invitational despite 30 mph wind gusts.
"He definitely played with more confidence this year, and we are looking forward to see how he does wherever golf takes him next year," Terpstra added.
