Bay Runner-up; Garden City fourth at Jayhawk No. 2

Newton, KS-Sophomore Jake Bay finished as the runner-up while his team came in fourth at the Jayhawk No. 2 Tournament at Sand Creek Station Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon.
The Blue Dragons won the team title, beating Dodge City by two strokes. Barton County came in third.
Meantime Bay got off to a great start for the Broncbusters on Monday, firing a first-round best 2-under par, 70, to put him in the lead. He followed with rounds of 75 and 76, finishing at five-over for the tournament and six strokes back of individual champ Charlie Crockett from Hutchinson, who shot even par in rounds two and three.
Vincent Wilhelm tied for 14th with a three-round total of 237, shooting an 80 on Monday followed by a 79 and 78. George Avgousti was 26th at 8-over par, and Shaydon Johnson and Evan McBride tied for 32nd.
