Garden City takes third at Jayhawk No. 1

Manhattan, KS-The Broncbusters definitely made a statement in their first conference tournament of the spring.
Garden City finished third, shooting a team score of 303 at the Jayhawk No. 1 at Colbert Hills Golf Course on Monday. Hutchinson took home the team title, shooting 15-over par, followed by Dodge City at 31-over.
Garden City's Jake Bay tied for fifth individually, shooting an opening-round 73 followed by a 77 in the second round for a total of 6-over par. George Avgousti was also 6-over, improving by two strokes in round two-firing a 74. Vincent Wilhelm was 12th at 9-over par, Evan McBride was 13-over; he came in 17th, and Samuel Moron was 35th.
