Reynolds named Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week

Garden City, KS-Broncbuster infielder and outfielder Conner Reynolds was named the Jayhawk Conference player of the week on Monday.

Reynolds has cranked a home run in five straight games and has seven for the season; tying him for the nation's lead. He has knocked in 21 runs, which is tied for third in the country. He is currently hitting .321.

During their series four-game sweep over New Mexico Military, Reynolds was 5-for17 at the dish, with four homers and eight RBIs. He was also 2-for-5 with a round tripper in a 6-3 loss to Lamar on Feb. 15. He has hit safely in five straight games.

Garden City has won 11 out of 12 since dropping their first two games to Trinidad State.
