Mike Pilosof is currently in his fourth year as Director of Athletics at Garden City Community College, bringing more than 15 years of experience in collegiate athletics administration, media relations, and sports leadership.

Since being named Athletic Director in January 2022, Pilosof has helped guide the Broncbuster Athletics Department through a period of growth and modernization. During his tenure, GCCC has expanded its athletic offerings, strengthened compliance and recruiting operations, and enhanced the overall student-athlete experience. He has also played a key role in elevating the department’s communication and outreach strategy, helping build stronger ties between athletics, the college, and the local community.

Prior to his current role, Pilosof served as Assistant Athletic Director and Sports Information Director at GCCC from 2016 to 2021, where he oversaw media operations, coordinated game-day logistics, and helped shape the college’s brand identity across digital and social platforms.

A dynamic communicator and collaborative leader, Pilosof has worked alongside campus administration, coaches, and staff on several key departmental initiatives—including the addition of women’s wrestling, revitalization of athletic facilities, and the expansion of corporate partnerships supporting Broncbuster student-athletes. His leadership continues to emphasize academic achievement, competitive excellence, and community engagement.

Pilosof earned his Master of Science in Sport Management from the University of Kansas and his Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
