Broncbusters fall to Barton in four sets

Garden City Community College Broncbusters fall in Great Bend to the the Barton Community College Cougars in four sets. 

The Cougars started strong, winning the first set 25-16. However, the Broncbusters fought back in the second set and won it 25-23. The Cougars regained control in the third and fourth sets, winning 25-22 and 25-20 to take the match.

The Broncbusters, Julia Brazil and Andrea Djordjevic each had 12 kills. Brazil also contributed with 2 service aces and 9 digs. Vitoria Stedile was key on defense with an impressive 34 digs, followed by Carly Lang's 12 digs, while Vitoria Reis set up plays with 21 assists.

For Barton, Kassidy Nixon led the Cougars with 14 kills. She also helped on defense with 18 digs and 3 service aces. Phoebe Reyes and Anna Wierzbicki added to the offense with 11 and 8 kills.
