Garden City competes in final day of KT Woodman Invite
Wichita, KS-The Broncbusters completed the two-day KT Woodman Invite on Saturday.
Men's Recap
The men's 4X100 meter relay (Randell, Powell, Armstrong, Wagner) placed 9th with a time of 42.26.
Darren Sanders took 10th in the Triple Jump, setting a new personal best of 13.81 meters while Jereun Wagner was the top performer in the 100 meter and 200-meter dash, clocking in times of 10.49 and 22.28 respectively. Teammate Treyone Suber had a solid double in the 100 (11.11) and 200 (22.48), clocking in his second-best times in those events this season. Andre Dafney ran a personal best in the 100, running a time of 11.35.
Fabian Nava placed 13th in the Long Jump, leaping to a mark of 6.78 meters. He later came back and ran his 2nd best 100 meters of his career, clocking in a 11.10.
Ray'Sean Thomas placed 14th in the 400-meter dash, setting a new personal best of 49.41. Lamar Oubre ran a personal best time of 54.27.
Shaun Johnson placed 15th in the 110-meter hurdles, tying his personal best time of 15.12. Jockque Randell had a solid day, clocking in his second best 110-meter-hurdle performance with a time of 17.18. Randell later came back and set a personal best in the 200m dash, clocking in a time of 22.72.
Jaden Powell put together his 2nd best 400-meter hurdle performance of the season, running a time of 56.77 and placing 13th.
Women's Recap
Diondra Wilborn had the best place finish at the meet for the Lady Busters; with a 9th place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, with a time of 14.74.
Diamond Choate was on fire this weekend, earning personal best times in both the 100-meter hurdles (17.43) and 400-meter hurdles (1:12.04).
