Broncbusters lose to Blue Devils in Kansas City

Garden City Community College Broncbusters lost to the Kansas City Kansas Community College Blue Devils 2-0 in Kansas City, Kansas. The Blue Devils were strong on offense, outshooting the Broncbusters 18-5 overall and 9-4 in shots on goal.

The Blue Devils got on the board early when Trinity Wheeler scored in the 9th minute, with help from Kiara Carr. KCKCC kept pushing and scored again just before halftime. Sierra Montez found the net in the 44th minute, with an assist from Cora Ellermann.

Despite the score, Garden City's goalkeeper Leydaly Enriquez had a great game, making 8 saves. The Broncbusters' offense was led by Ariel Martinez, who took 2 shots. Yvie Miller, Jessica Newton, and Charlotte Sayer also each had a shot on goal.

For KCKCC, Sierra Montez was very active, taking 6 shots and scoring one goal. Cora Ellermann also played well with 5 shots, and an assist. The Blue Devils' goalkeeper, Maria Heuman, did not allow any goals, stopping all 4 of Garden City's shots on goal.
