Kanchana Kanchanaphilboon takes fifth at Ranger Invitational

Enid, OK-The Broncbuster women's golf team competed in the Ranger Invitational at Meadowlake on Monday and Tuesday with Kanchana Kanchanaphilboon finishing fifth. 

The freshman, who shot 9-over in the opening round, posted her second top-five finish of the fall. She birdied No. 4 and 5 and saved par seven times on Monday overcoming two double bogeys on the back nine to finish with an 81. She followed that up with an 84 in round two. 

Daniela Ramos-Marquez tied for 16th. She shave nine strokes off her round-one score, posting an 86 on Tuesday. Garden City native Allie Sandoval finished 28th.
