Broncbusters place four on All-Conference team
Garden City, KS-Four Broncbusters were named to the All-Conference team on Friday.
Sierra Driessen earned second-team honors while Antonicia Moultrie, Ana Ramos-Pires, and Stevi Yancy were picked as honorable mentions.
Driessen averaged nearly 15 points per game while shooting nearly 40 percent from the floor. She scored in double figures 23 times including a season-best 29 vs. Colby on Nov. 18. Driessen also posted a pair of 10-assist games vs. Pratt on Nov. 26 and again vs. Independence in the first round of the Region VI Tournament.
Moultrie was fourth in the conference in rebounds (10.4 per game), pulling down double-digit boards 16 times. She had a season-high 17 vs. Pratt on Nov. 26 and posted nine double-doubles.
Ramos-Pires started 24 games as a true freshman, averaging 10 points and six rebounds per game. She tallied two double-doubles and scored a season-high 24 points vs. NW Tech on Dec. 9. She reached double figures 14 times.
Yancy had a fantastic sophomore campaign, pouring in 12.4 points per game while becoming one of Greg Franklin's most dangerous 3-point shooters. She nailed six triples vs. NW Tech on Dec. 9.
