
Broncbuster men take fourth at GCCC Rodeo
Garden City, KS-The Broncbuster men's team finished fourth at the Garden Citiy Community College Rodeo over the weekend.
Brady Irvine led the way once again by placing 4th in the Long Go of Saddle Bronc Riding, 2nd in the Short Go with an 80 point score, and finished 2nd in the Average.
Braden Routier split 3rd and 4th place in the Long Go of Steer Wrestling, finished 5th in the Short Go, and Won 4th in the Average.
Riggs Rotenberger made the Short Go in the Tie Down Roping by placing 7th in the Long Go, he unfortunately took a no time in the Short Go, and finished 10th in the Average. Riggs also made the Short Go in the Steer Wrestling by Winning 5th place in the Long Go, but he unfortunately took a No Time when he missed his steer. He finished 8th in the Average.
It was a bittersweet weekend for Bobby Davis, who returned from an injury he sustained last summer. unfortunately, he was hurt again in the short go. He took 8th in the Long Go, Short Go, and average of Bareback Riding. He also made the Short Go in the Saddle Bronc Riding by placing 10th in the Long go. He made a really nice ride in the Short Go to split 6th and 7th place, and finished 8th in the Average.
