Women take fourth at Northwestern Oklahoma State
Alva, OK-The women's team took fourth and the men's finished eighth at the Northwestern Oklahoma State rodeo.
Brady Irvine led the way once again by Winning 2nd in the Long Go of Saddle Bronc Riding with a 77. He scored 82.5 points in the Short Go to win 2nd in that round, and finished 2nd in the Average. He also gained some ground in the region standings' leaderboard in the Saddle Bronc Riding and separated himself a little more from those close behind him. He will now go into the winter break sitting 2nd in the region, and in good position for a CNFR qualification next spring!
JaycieRae Love teamed up with Chestin Smith-Rohman (Dodge City) to split 5th & 6th in the Long Go of Team Roping with a 7.7 second run! They won 3rd in the Short Go with a 13.3 second run, and finished 3rd in the Average.
Riggs Rotenberger made the Short Go of Steer Wrestling with a 6.4 second run in the Long Go, but unfortunately didn't drew a stopper in the Short Go, took a no time, and finished 11th in the Average.
Creek Williams roped with Wyatt Bentz (SWOSU) to win 4th in the Long Go of Team Roping. Williams was unable to compete in the Short Go due to a personal commitment obligation he had scheduled, so he wasn't able to compete in the Short Go.
