
Garden City notches comeback win over Dodge

The Garden City Community College Broncbusters picked up a 4-2 win over Dodge City Sunday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.
Dodge City got off to a fast start, scoring just 62 seconds into the game when Hamza Bennadi found the net with help from Theo Hoang. However, Garden City quickly bounced back, tying the game in the 39th minute when Michael Valdes scored with a header with assistance from Ryoga Oki.
In the second half, Garden City took charge. Jaden Grant put the Broncbusters ahead in the 59th minute with an unassisted goal. Daniel Nunez then extended the lead in the 82nd minute, scoring with assists from Joao Weber Vitor and Felipe Pugas.
Dodge City fought back and scored in the 88th minute when Felipe Samary found the net, assisted by Theo Hoang. But Garden City responded quickly, with Facundo Nunez scoring within a few seconds with help from Yanis Aubaret, sealing the game at 4-2.
Garden City had with 25 shots (14 on goal) compared to Dodge City's 14 shots (eight on goal). Broncbusters' goalkeeper, Axcel Padilla made six saves, while Geovanni De Luna of Dodge City had 10.
