Minter named KJCCC Offensive player of the week

Garden City, KS-He grew up idolizing Chicago Bears legendary running back Gale Sayers. And so far through six games, you can see some of those same shifty moves in redshirt freshman Tra Minter. 

Minter's 190-yard, two touchdown performance during Saturday's 39-13 victory over Coffeyville, earned him the Jayhawk Conference Offensive Player of the Week Award. 

Minter was at his sensational best early on, ripping off a 63-yard run that setup the Broncbusters first offensive touchdown of the night. He also had a heavy workload, carrying the ball 30 times; his second highest total this season while notching his fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season.
