
Broncbusters and Clarendon finish in a tie
Clarendon, TX-The Broncbusters tied in daylight-shortened game.
Game two of the four game series down in Clarendon started off slow. In the first inning each team had a quick three up, three down. Neither team got on the board until Garden City got six in the sixth with a a couple of walks, three singles and Joe Finder was hit by a pitch.
Going into the ninth inning the Broncbusters had a 10-3 advantage. But Gunnar Nartker walked his first two batters. Coach Finnegan quickly made a change and replace dhim with Stephen Roozendal, who struggled as well giving up a three-run homer. He walked his next batter on four straight balls. Garrett Dykstra came in and yielded a single before picking up the first out of the tenth. Dykstra gave up a double and a walk before Finnegan called on his forth pitcher of the inning, and eighth of the night for the Broncbusters. Cameron Sistrunk allowed a single for Clarendon to tie the game in the ninth inning. The game was called after nine because of daylight.
Draike Sparks was 1/3 with one hit and two RBI for Garden City, which used eight pitchers.
