Griffiths in contention after two rounds of the NJCAA Championships
Garden City, KS-For the most part, mistake-free golf has kept Summer Griffiths in contention all week.
That trend continued Tuesday as the sophomore shot even par to move within four shots of the individual leader at the 2025 NJCAA Women's Golf National Championships at Buffalo Dunes.
Griffiths overcame a two-putt on No.6 by responding with a pair of birdies on the front nine that that pushed her to even. On the back, the sophomore cruised through the first five holes, parring each of them before dropping in a seven-foot birdie putt on 15 to push her to 1-under. But trouble lurked on 16 where her approach shot landed in the rough. She wiggled out of harm's way but still ended up bogeying the hole. She shot 36 on the back and sits at 2-over for the tournament.
