Martinez named conference player of the week

Garden City, KS-Broncbuster sophomore volleyball star Bailey Martinez was named the Jayhawk Conference player of the week on Tuesday.

Martinez had a sensational week as Garden City went 3-0, beating Kansas Wesleyan, Pratt and rival Dodge City. She recorded 13 digs on Monday, 21 on Wednesday and 35 on Friday.

Martinez is currently fifth in the nation in Digs. Her team has won five out of their last six matches
