Medina signs with McPherson
Garden City, KS-Isabel Medina, a 5-8 forward from Garden City, has signed a national letter of intent to play at McPherson College.
"We are very excited to have Isabel join our family here at McPherson College," Bulldogs Coach Mark Olson said. "She brings a wealth of experience and stability to our team, and is a player that we have kept an eye on for a long time. Her work rate and technical ability are areas of her game that stood out on her visit and will allow her to compete right away next season. We want to thank her parents for entrusting us with their daughter over these next two years and look forward to her being on campus in August."
Garden City head coach Scott Westbrook feels McPherson hit a home run.
"McPherson College has signed a very dedicated player," he said. "Isabel is usually the first one at practice and the last one to leave. Isabel won the most improved player award last year at Garden City. She enjoys playing the game, and we wish her all the best over her next two years."
Medina played her high school ball at Garden City.
