Broncbuster men cross country finishes 33rd at Nationals
El Dorado, KS-The Broncbuster men's cross country team wrapped up the 2016 season with a 33rd place finish at the National meet on Saturday.
Sophomore Rodney Henry paced Garden City, finishing 56th with a time of 26:51. Behind him, Oscar Guzman placed 188th; Frank Bearden was 207th; Edgar Avalos came in 240th; Juan Gomez-Pineola 243rd; Jesus Reyes 251st and Eduardo Ortiz 259th.
Central Arizona won the team national title and had one of their own: Gilbert Kigen win the individual crown. Cloud County's Thobile Mosito was the highest-placing runner from the Jayhawk Conference, he came in 12th. Butler was the highest placing conference team at No. 6.
