Broncbuster men finish 9th at Region VI
Hutchinson, KS-2016 has been a year of mixed results for Ray Putnam's squad. And nothing on Saturday changed that.
The Broncbuster men cross country team finished ninth at the 2016 Region VI Championships, 25 points back of eighth place Hutchinson.
Rodney Henry continued his strong season, placing 11th individually with a time of 27:22.42. He was the only Broncbuster to finish inside the top 50.
Edgar Avalos placed 61st; Edwardo Ortiz 70th; Oscar Guzman 71st; Frank Bearden 72nd; Jesus Reyes 74th and Juan Gomez Pinede 86th. Luis Lozanao and Jorge Macais finished outside the top 100.
Allen won the team title with Butler finishing second. Cloud County's Moses Dirane won the individual title.
