Garden City men finish 9th at Ollie Isom Invite
El Dorado, KS-The Garden City men finished in ninth place, nine points behind rival Dodge City at the 2016 Ollie Isom Cross Country Invite.
Garden City scored 246 points as a team and recorded a total time of 2:40:10.89.
Rodney Henry again paced the Broncbusters, finishing 29th with a time of 30:11.33. His teammate Edwardo Ortis came in 46th followed by Oscar Guzman at 65; Edgar Avalos at 71 while Luis Lozano finished 82nd.
Two Broncbusters fell outside the op 100-Juan Gomez Pinede came in 103rd and Tyler Tackett was 107th.
Butler won the team title with a total time of 2:20:57.97, and Cloud County's Moses Dirane took home first place individually at 26:30.98.
