Men qualify one for Nationals at Frank Sevigne Invite

Lincoln, Neb-The Broncbusters continue to build towards the 2020 indoor postseason.
Kim Francis's team qualified one for the National Meet during the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite at the University of Nebraska.
Freshman, Debonaire Williams, is heading to Virginia after a ninth-place finish in the men's heptathlon, which consisted of the 60-meter hurdles, 60-meter dash, long jump, high jump, shot put, pole vault and the 1000-meter run. He is currently ranked 13th in the NJCAA and fourth in the Jayhawk Conference.
Freshman, Marvin Gatlin, clocked a personal best in the 400-meters, recording a time of 50.89 seconds-good for 38th place. He also turned around and split a lifetime mark in the 4x400 relay, joining teammates Gerald Brown, Jacquez Jones and Christian Walker. They finished 18th with a time of 3:26.378.
Jones also ran the 600-meters, taking 18th (1:26.95).
Garden City is back in action on Friday at the Gorilla Classic at Pittsburg State before the Region VI Indoor meet the following week.
