Another strong showing for Broncbuster track team in El Dorado
El Dorado, KS-With only three events remaining in the spring season, the Broncbuster men making their final push towards nationals.
Ricardo Colas paced Garden City with a third-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2017 Everett Kohl Invitational over the weekend. His time was 56.46.
Anthony Dawson had a strong showing, coming in third in the 400 meters with a 49.83. His teammate Oscar Guzman was 14th. Frank Bearden blazed to a ninth-place finish in the 800 meters with Eduardo Ortiz and Edgar Avalos right behind him (12th and 13th respectively). Ortiz also finished 11th in the 1500 meters, while the 4x400 relay team of Dawson, Timothy Dawson, Denim Rogers and Lucas Santos came in third behind Cloud County and Oklahoma Baptist.
