Broncbuster men qualify two at TSU Relays

Houston, TX-The Garden City men's track team opened the outdoor season over the weekend at the TSU Relays at Texas Southern University.

The men qualified two for nationals. James Liburd punched his ticket in the 400-meter dash with a top time of 47.32 and just missed out on defending his TSU Relays title, finishing second. He also placed fourth in the 200 meters. Jonathan Challenger ran an amazing 10.34 in the 100-meter dash and placed fifth before finishing fifth in the 200 meters. Anthony Dawson came in 20^th in the 200 with a time of 22.57.

Other results: Oscar Guzman finished 18^th in the 800 meters while his teammate Jesus Reyes was right behind him in 22^nd and Edgar Avalos 25^th.
