Busters Finish 3rd In KJCCC Championships

KJCCC JAYHAWK #3 RESULTS TEAM & INDIVIDUAL
Newton, KS-Sand Creek Station was the scene of a competitive battle for the KJCCC Team Tittle. Dodge City finished as Champions of the KJCCC while Hutchinson Community College finished a half point back for 2nd place.
John Green's Garden City team finished 2 points back of Dodge City to claim 3rd place.
Dodge City claimed Day II finishing with a 290 for a final score of 876. The Conqs went 302,284 and 290.
Hutchinson went 295, 290 and 293 finishing one stroke ahead of Garden City with an 878. The Busters led after Day I as they went 294 and 290 for a 584.
The Busters shot 295 on Day II to finish at 879.
Head Coach John Green stated, "I am proud of these guys. In all my years of coaching I've have never seen it this tight. What a run these young men made."
On the Individual side Skyler Tebo finished third overall in Jayhawk #3. The sophomore went 72-72-71 finishing 1 under.
Jayhawk # 3 Individual Championship went to Lewis Schenk. Schenk shot 72-69-69 to finish 6 under. Witchayapat Sinsrang finished second overall shooting 74-67-71 finishing 4 under.
Buster Dominic Pollock finished 6th oveall and posted a 72 today while Mac McNish tied for 8th oveall.
Skyler Tebo and Dominic Pollock were named KJCCC 1st Team All-Conference and Mac McNish and Carter Lewis received KJCC Honorable-Mention.
Tebo claimed the KJCCC Oveall Individual Champion. Tebo finished with 29 points overall 51/2 points over Witchayapat Sinsrang of Dodge City.
