Busters 3rd in Jayhawk #2
Hutchinson, KS-Garden City finished in 3rd place in the Jayhawk #2 Tournament. Garden City is in second place trailing Hutchinson by one point 15-14. Dodge City is in 3rd place with a total score of 13 and Barton County is in a distant 4th place with 10.
Skyler Tebo led the way for Garden City finishing 8 over. Witchayapat Sinsrang of Dodge City was the overall winner shooting 4 over and teammate Thirawat Chantrakantaond finished second at 6 over.
Tebo has a commanding 7 stroke lead in KJCCC Individual Standings as he sits atop the leaderboard at 17.
There is a 4 way tie for second place with Will Arnold (HCC), Witchayapat Sinsrang (DCCC), Chase Coble (HCC) and Thirawat Chantrakentaond (DCCC) with 10 points.
The Busters improved 14 strokes from 1st round play with a 312. In Jayhawk #1 Garden City improved 19 strokes on day two.
Head Coach John Green stated, "We have to come out in day one and face adversity and get through it. We have shown we can golf on day two. We have to golf on day one." I am proud to see that we can rebound and compete in day 2 but we have to put it together. We are capable of it."
Dominic Pollock is alone in 6th place with 8 individual points.
