Stone named KJCCC pitcher of the week
Garden City, KS-Garden City's Austin Stone was named the Jayhawk Conference pitcher of the week.
The Arvada, CO product totaled 14 strikeouts in 12 innings of work-setting down six vs. Trinidad State and another eight in an 8-1 victory over Western Nebraska.
Stone is 2-0 on the season with a 3.71 ERA with 18 strikeouts and only one walk.
