Busters Comeback From 9-0 Deficit to Win

Garden City, KS- The Busters complete the comeback as they overcome a 9-0 deficit to win 14-11. The Busters improve to 26-8 on the season.
The Busters started off slow but turned it around in the 4th inning following a Brooks Benson solo home run. Garden City ended up with 14 runs on 10 hits. Garden City was led by Conner Reynolds who was 2 for 3 with 7 RBIs and 2 runs. Reynolds' great day was capped off by a grand slam to center field in the bottom half of the 8th inning.
Kyle Lopez also played well today going 2 for 3 from the dish with 2 RBIs and 2 runs. Aeneas Roberson got in on the action as well going 2 for 4 with an RBI and 2 runs.
For the Plainsmen Luis Ornelas led the way going 4 for 5 from the plate with an RBI and 3 runs.
The Busters travel to Great Bend Saturday for a pivotal 4 game series. First pitch Saturday is at 1:00 PM. Game II is scheduled for 3:30.
