Broncbuster women with a strong showing at Southeastern Oklahoma State Rodeo

Durant, OK-The Broncbuster rodeo team competed at Southeastern Oklahoma State over the weekend.
The women's team took sixth led by Cassidy Blank, who split ninth, 10th, 11th and 12th place in the long go of breakaway roping with a 3.2 second run. She was 3.0 in the Short Go to win third in that round and took third in the average (6.2).
Tori Kunz split ninth, 10th, 11th and 12th place in the long go of breakaway roping but missed her Short Go calf and finished tied for 11/12th in the average.
The men's team failed to get any points but did have one notable performance by Jaylyn Hash, who was the lone Broncbuster in the Long Go-taking seventh in steer wrestling with a 4.6-second run. He had some trouble in Short-Go round and finished eighth.
Next up: The Garden City Community College Rodeo beginning on April 26.
