Bio

Juliette Rios is the new Head Coach for the Men and Women’s Cross Country and Assistant Track and Field Coach.

She was the previous graduate assistant for the cross country and track and field team at Eastern New Mexico University where she specialized in long and mid-distance training.

Rios started her collegiate career in Highland Community College where she helped the Cross-Country team qualify for nationals in 2016 and 2017. Rios performed various events in track and field including the following: 800m, 1500m, 1 mile, 3k, 5k, 10k and half-marathon.

After graduating from Highland Community College, Rios finished her athletic career at Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota. During her last season, she placed third in the 3,000m steeplechase at the NorthStar Athletic Conference and made the school’s history top 10 list for the event.

Rios graduated with a Bachelor's in Biology and will receive her Master’s in Sports Administration in Fall 2024.
