Two qualify for nationals at Mark Phillips Invite
Women:
-Cloe Kalanick highlighted the day for the Lady Broncbusters as she hit a national qualifying mark of 44.00m (144'4") in the Hammer Throw; which her personal best performance was good enough for 4th place. Cloe also had a top 8 finish in both the Discus (7th, 37.67m/123'7") and Shot Put (8th, 11.37m/37'3.75"); also earning personal best in both events respectively.
-Beatriz Ferreira hit a national qualifying mark in the Shot Put with a mark of 12.81m (42'0.5"); which was good enough for a 2nd place finish. Ferreira also had a 8th place finish in the Hammer Throw, throwing a personal best mark of 40.78m(133'9").
-Serena Degollado had a stellar day as she landed herself a few personal best performances. She placed 5th in the Hammer Throw with a new best of 41.62m (136'9") and then followed up with a personal best throw of 34.34m (112'8") in the Discus.
-Shareen Cheruiyot took first in the Steeplechase with a time of 12:28.86, just missing the national qualifying standard.
-Kerrishma Williams took 3rd in the Long Jump with a mark of 5.20m (17'0.75"). She also followed that up with a 6th place finish in the High Jump, setting a new personal best of 1.52m (4'11.75").
-Taylor Thorp took 4th in the 5k race with a time of 22:27.14.
-Kanya Campbell took 6th in the 100m dash with a new personal best of 12.96.
-In her debut of the Javelin, Maya White Eagle took 7th in the event with a throw of 18.25m (59'10"). Teammate Meagan Burkhart took 8th with a mark of 16.53m (54'3").
-In her debut of the 1500m, Sara Chapa had an 8th place finish with a time of 5:31.53.
-Meagan Burkhart placed 8th in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 21.98.
-Women's 4x100 (Campbell, White Eagle, Chapa, Williams) placed 3rd with a time of 52.94.
-Women's 4x400 (Williams, Chapa, Clemens, Serrano) placed 4th with a time of 4:41.03.

Men:
-Ricardo Mijares ran a strong race in the 5k, clocking in a time of 17:46.78 placing 3rd overall but was the top collegiate athlete in the field.
-Etienne James placed 5th in the very competitive 800m with a time of 2:04.69; which was the second best time of his career.
-Roderick Barfield placed 6th in the 400 meter hurdles with a new personal best time of 1:05.85. He also set a personal best in the 110 meter hurdles, clocking in a time of 16.82.
-Johnny Harris placed 7th in the 400m with a time of 50.97, which is good enough for his 3rd best performance in the event this track season.
-Edwin Rodriguez placed 8th in the High Jump with a mark of 1.82 meters (5'11.5"). He also followed up the day with a personal best in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.12m (20'1").
-Charlie Russell placed 8th in the Discus with a personal best throw of 39.54m (129'9"). He also threw a personal best mark of 35.35m (115'11") in the Hammer Throw.
-Men's 4x100m (Miller, Romero, Miles, Harris) took 5th with a season best time of 42.88.
-Men's 4x400m (Miles, Harris, Veloz, James) took 6th with a time of 3:38.24.
