Lamar, CO-As has been the case for most of the season, Garden City failed to finish.
The Broncbusters surrendered a 3-1 lead late, surrendering two goals over the final 33 minutes of the match to end in a 3-3 draw with Lamar on Wednesday. Garden City is now 6-4-5 overall.
After the Lopes scored in the 11th minute to take a 1-0 advantage, Jorge De La Vibora played a ball to the back post that Dinis Ribeiro headed in to the tie the match in the 27th minute. The Broncbusters then took the lead less than three minutes later when Soulo Letsoalo found William Jackson, who tapped it by the keeper for a 2-1 lead. In the 40th minute, Garden City struck again, this time thanks to Lamar, which knocked the ball into their own net.
But the Broncbusters yielded a goal on a penalty kick in the 57th minute; then allowed the tying score by Toby Coultrip in the 70th.
Garden City outshot Lamar 25-13, and Charlie Prtenjaca recorded three saves.
