Bio

Alex Woodward is beginning his first sting with the Broncbusters. 

After graduating from California State University Chico in 2022.

He began his coaching career at Citrus College as a volunteer DB assistant in the spring. Due to staff changes, he quickly transitioned to the running back coach within the first week and never looked back. During his two-year span, he produced four all conference selections, one all-purpose selection, and two running backs amassing over a thousand yards in a single season. In addition, having one RB win MVP and the other win player of the game in the 2023 Western State Bowl.

After two years coaching experience, Woodard has attained a 19-3 record comprised of one undefeated season, a conference championship, and two consecutive bowl wins. In his third season as a junior college coach, he hopes structure, discipline, and a winning mindset will resurrect previous BroncBuster glory.
