Bio

Zac Miller begins his first season as the women's golf coach at Garden City Community College.

Miller, 36, came to Garden City as a wide receivers coach in 2019 following a three-year run tutoring the defensive backs at Eastern Arizona. After a year under Coach, Tom Minnick, Miller was hired as the assistant residential life director.

Don’t be deceived by Miller’s football background, which included a stint as a wide receiver and defensive back at New Mexico Military and then North Alabama. But golf was always his passion.

He worked as a golf professional at Grayson Valley Country Club as the first assistant PGA apprentice before taking a job at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Ross Bridge in Hoover, AL. He also worked at Inverness Country Club.

The Birmingham, AL native resides in Garden City with his wife, Shawndee and their four kids: Noah (21), Miah 18), Leilah (12), and Aliviah (2).
