Broncbuster freshman posts top-five finish at Central Kansas Classic
McPherson, KS-The Broncbuster women's golf team kicked off its inaugural campaign at the Central Kansas Classic on Monday and Tuesday.
Freshman Kanchana Kanchanaphiboon posted the program's first top-five finish, taking fourth after shooting 15-over for the tournament. She was plus-10 today dropping a birdie on the par-4 323-yard No. 4. She parred five of the first nine holes and three of the first four on the back nine. She posted two birdies on Monday including one on the par-5 455-yard ninth hole.
Daniela Ramos-Marquez tied for 16th at 25-over, which included a bounce-back performance after a shaky opening round. She dropped in a pair of birdies on Tuesday and was 1-over through nine.
Garden City native Allie Sandoval tied for 40th.
