Broncbuster men's rodeo with a strong showing at Northwestern Oklahoma State
Alva, OK-The Broncbuster men finished 11th and the women did not place at the Northwestern Oklahoma State Rodeo.
Brandt Walton teamed up with former Broncbuster Bryson Carroll who now attends OPSU to win 3rd in the Long Go of Team Roping with a 6.2 second run. Unfortunately Brandt missed in the Short Go, and they finished 7th in the Average.
Peyton Freeman won 6th place in the Long Go of Saddle Bronc Riding with a 64 point score on his ride. He came back and scored a 61 point ride in the Short Go to finish 7th there, and 7th in the Average.
Jezimay Watson split 8/9/10/11th place in the Long Go of Goat Tying with a 7.0 second run. She was 8.3 in the Short Go to finish 13 th in the Round, and 13th in the Average.
Marlee Quarles split 12/13/14/15 th place in the Long Go of Breakaway Roping with a 3.0 second run. She unfortunately missed her Short Go calf, and finished tied for 14/15th place in the Average.
Going into the Winter Break, the Women's Team sits in 7th place in the Region, while the Men's Team is 9th.
Kiley Slavin still leads the Breakaway Roping regional standings, and sits in 10thplace in the Barrel Racing.
Jaylyn Hash is sitting in 12th place in the Tie Down Roping, and 15th in the Heeling.
Peyton Freeman is sitting in 13th place in the Saddle Bronc Riding.
Brandt Walton is sitting in 15th place for the Heading standings.
