Colby, KS-The Rodeo Team competed at the Colby Community College Rodeo this past weekend.
The Men's Team failed to get anyone in the Short Go while the Women's Team finished in a tie for 6thplace with Kansas State University.

She came back to the Short Go and unfortunately broke the barrier, but still finished in 6th place in that round with a 12.4 second run. She finished 6th in the Average overall.
Kiley also made the Short Go in the Barrel Racing with a 16.37 second run to finish 9thin the Long Go out of 142 total entries. She improved her time in the Short Go (16.18) to finish 4th in that round, and 6th overall!
Although she didn't win the All-Around Cowgirl title for the weekend, which went to Libby Berger from SWOSU, she did however put herself in early contention to be a possibility of representing the always tough Central Plains Region as an All Around Contestant at the CNFR when the regular season concludes in April.
Our next competition will be at SEOSU Sept. 29 – Oct. 1.
