Bio

Tre Thomas begins his first season as the assistant soccer coach at Garden City Community College. Thomas joins the staff after one year as an assistant at Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS.

Prior to starting his coaching career, Thomas played semi professionally for the Wichita Selection indoor soccer team as well as Ozark FC located in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Thomas played 3 years at Southwestern College. At Southwestern, Thomas was a two-year captain and two time all conference player. Thomas graduated from Southwestern with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management.

Prior to Southwestern, Thomas attended Cloud County Community College for one year.

During his high school career, Thomas played at Wichita East High School and had an integral role in leading his team to the state tournament for the first time in school history. Thomas also lead the team to their first outright league title in school history while captaining the team. He was selected 2nd team all-league for his efforts.
