Bio

Harley Beck is originally from Burlington Colorado. He grew into an athlete at Burlington High School, where he participated in Football, Cross Country, and Track and Field. His successful career as a student-athlete led him into continuing his track and field career at Colby Community College. At Colby Community, he started his path to sports medicine following the profession of being a physical therapist. As a student-athlete at Colby Community Harley made 3 national appearances and graduated with academic success and an associate of science in 2009. He then pursued his dream to become a physical therapist at the University of Northern Colorado that following fall. After attending his orientation at UNC his advisor suggested that he look into Athletic Training, this is where he soon found his true calling. Harley Graduated from UNC in May of 2012 with a bachelor’s in Athletic Training. He also passed the Board of Certification exam for becoming a certified Athletic Trainer that previous April. 

Harley then found himself excepting a position as an intern at Missouri Southern State University in the Summer of 2012. He oversaw the care of the men’s and women’s track and field programs and receive his first conference championship ring from the women’s team. After his first year at Missouri Southern, he was allowed to continue with the organization by working for the Freeman Health System which provided a full-time position with the school. He also at that time was given the responsibility to take care of a local high school known as College Heights Christian School. While working for Freeman Health System Harley was a part of 6 more conference championships as well as multiple national championship appearances. He was also allowed to work with the Gatorade Company in the summers to promote and educate athletes on proper nutrition and hydration. Harley has covered multiple events of USATF, AAU, NCAA, and high school events, and for those past years, he developed and refined his ability as an Athletic Trainer. In July 2021, Harley accepted a position at Garden Community College and started in August where he began his journey with the BroncBuster Nation. 

Harley is in his 2nd year at Garden City Community College as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and primarily works with the football team. Harley and his family live in Garden City which includes his wife Rebecca, his son Oliver and his two dog’s Chip and Butters.
