Bio

Greg Greathouse begins his 30th year working in the athletics department at Garden City Community College. 

Greathouse completed his bachleor's degree through Emporia State before receiving his master's from Friends University. 

He began his career at Garden City in 1991, working as an athletic trainer. Since then, he's worked as a head athletic trainer, super circuit director, fitness director, facilities director, division director and assistant athletic director for three years.  

When he's not in the office, Greathouse works on his family farm north of Garden City. He and his wife, Lachele, have two children, Austin and Rileigh. Both are going to school at Wichita State after graduating from Garden City Community College. Austin just completed his nursing degree, and Rileigh is in the Dental Hygienist program.
