Line qualifies for nationals

Kaylee Line picked the perfect time to have her best meet of the season.
The Lakin-native finished third in the women's pentathlon, totaling 2,645 points and qualifying for the national indoor meet. She took third in the 60-meter hurdles, second in the high jump, seventh in the shot put and fourth in the long jump. She finished it off by taking fifth in the 800 meters, timing out at 3:04.65.
Lanecia Crosby took home third place in the triple jump, leaping a personal best 10.92 meters. Arhianna Franklin ran a personal best in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing with a PR time of 9.55 seconds and qualifying for nationals. Her teammate Ayanna Page timed sprinted 8.1 seconds in the 60-meter dash, and the 4x400 relay team came in sixth, running a personal best 4:15.05.
