Tilley, Washington and Green highlight all-conference team

Garden City, KS-The Broncbuster women's basketball team landed three players on the All-Conference squad.
Jada Washington, Shakendra Tilley and Abigail Green were all named to the second team.
The Broncbusters accomplished a ton of milestones during the 2017-2018 season, and Washington was in the middle of all of it.
The sophomore guard singlehandedly carried the Broncbusters to their first victory in Hutchinson in 15 years, scoring the final 14 points, and icing the game with a step-back midrange jumper to beat the shot clock. She finished the year averaging 10.8 points and 3.3 assists per game, scoring in double figures in 18 games.
Tilley was the steady force for a Garden City team that really turned it on after the Christmas break. The sophomore was a big reason for that, averaging just under 10 points and seven rebounds per game. She was 12th in the conference in rebounding and had six double-doubles.
Green was arguably Charinee Mitchell's best defender. The freshman finished eighth in the conference in steals at two per game while averaging 10.2 points per contest. Her 5.2 boards per game made her one of the best rebounding guards in the Jayhawk.
