Borger, TX-Garden made quick work of Frank Phillips in game two.
Kaylee Rogers drove in three runs, Ariel Denney was 4-for-4 at the dish, and the Broncbusters finished off a two-game sweep of Frank Phillips with a 13-1 victory in five innings.
Garden City dented the scoreboard in a big way in the first. Kaylee Rogers started it with a three-run single, Audrey Graf doubled home one; then scored on an error, and Madison Brasher chipped in an RBI triple to make it 6-0.
In the third, Vivian Lopez scored on an error, Madison Biller cranked a two-run double, Gaby Hernandez drew a bases-loaded walk, and Brittany Dowell tallied an RBI double to put Garden City up 12-0.
Frank Phillips scored their lone run in the third before Garden City plated their 13th of the game in the fourth on (Gaby) Hernandez's RBI groundout.
Denney was overpowering in the circle, fanning eight batters in five innings. She allowed just one run on four hits to improve to 4-4 on the season. Graf added two RBI, and Brasher was 2-for-3 with two RBI out of the nine hole.
Frank Phillips starter Trini Perez lasted only two innings, giving up 10 runs on nine hits while throwing 61 pitches.
